Sunshine, Smiles and Sweet Bliss
On this crisp early morning in late November, I met up with the sweetest couple to capture these precious moments of their journey through pregnancy. The mama-to-be may be one of my best friends but I promise, her and dad-to-be are the kindest people around!
We decided on a sunrise shoot up in Santa Rosa upon rolling hills of golden vineyards. It was the most perfect setting with a clear morning back drop. We both arrived right before the sun peeked out over the hills behind us which gave us plenty of time to find the best spot, both for photos and so that mama bear didn't have to walk too far.
We put some country music on and got right to work! These two are NATURALS in front of the lens! I can't tell you how easy they made it to capture their happiness and love, both for each other and their little one. They helped me feel comfortable giving them little directions here and there but they really took all the cues and nailed it! Isn't it the best feeling when us photographers can kind of fade into the surroundings and really let our clients (friends, family, strangers, etc) be themselves and shine?
Besides being able to spend an amazing morning with dear friends, socially distanced of course, I was incredibly grateful to be able to capture these precious moments for them. Our paths have intertwined many times over the years and this session seemed to have already been a path paved for our friendship. I cannot wait for these two to finally have their little babe in their arms so that we can all spoil him silly!
